A prolific expert on the occult and whiskey, Reverend Conte accompanies a ragtag group of military rejects to a remote South Pacific island to investigate the disappearance of Marines stationed there in 1944, allegedly at the hands of the Imperial Japanese Army. After talking to the islanders, they soon learn that the marines were actually massacred by a group of lycanthropes known to most as WOLVES.
