Remake of “Bureau of Legends” (2015)
I must say that I was lucky that a couple of years ago I watched “The Bureau” in bindge mode, and to be honest, this is probably one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Until that moment, nothing even remotely resembled it. There is a connection between the two series, apparently it was mentioned that he “influenced” him, but to be honest, I didn’t expect a similar storyline.
You won’t regret it
Don’t get me wrong, the series has been amazing up to this point, great cast, good cinematography, but it wasn’t something I hadn’t seen in the French version. It’s too early to tell how everything will turn out, but I strongly recommend everyone who hasn’t seen “The Bureau” to watch it. After Fassbender played a professional killer in David Fincher’s The Killer, and I saw that he was in the cast, I immediately knew that he was a great choice for the role.
It’s not something you’ll watch while cycling on an indoor trainer
Such series actually require a certain amount of concentration while watching, so you can follow all the characters in the storyline and the small details about them. Some would even consider them slow, maybe even boring, but it is these characteristics and the complex personal battles that the characters have, plus the slow build-up of tension, that make them great, in my opinion. You either like such series or you don’t like them at all, there is no middle ground.
