Tale
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as they see the end of their long-running rivalry. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner previously filmed at Chavenage House (a rival monastery). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in 2015. In the BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. Absolutely incredible: the wit, the innuendo, the humour, the characters, the 80s relevance, the actors, the locations. – In a TV show, it is perfection. This kind of TV has been lacking for at least the last decade: it has it all. Sentimentality and joy, tears of laughter and sadness, nostalgia on steroids and actors who play their roles to perfection. I don’t have a single bad word to say about this show. Hats off to the writers, cast, crew and everyone else involved. I’m watching it a second time because there are too many one-off scenes to remember the first time. Well done!
